Margret had just went to see a company called re route ltd which she enjoyed because they were so laid back and chilled out about everything they told her how to do her on-line banking which she loved to do and told her about the information highway which is a new way to obtain information apart from using google. Her ex boyfriend was a computer programmer and he loved his job so much he said he was going to turn her into a programmer sadly that didn't happen as she hated the thought of being a programmer. While on vacation last year, we decided at the last minute to find a fishing charter to go out on the bay. I thought this would be easy information to get from the local yellow pages. I called and called all morning one Thursday and found this was going to be anything but easy. Most of the listings I found were wrong numbers and all of the large businesses were booked already and this was early may. The very large charters, who you can see tied up to the docks out on the bay, all told us they wouldn't get enough people to go out. Though I used to be into web development, I wouldn't say I keep up with the latest technology. I'm a bit stubborn like that. I like to see how things roll out before I dip my toe in. Other times, I'm just not that interested. I had been receiving some emails in my junk folder about watching TV online. I thought it would be great to view TV on my laptop. I wasn't sure how it would work and until I received this one email promising it worked without any special equipment did I think about trying it out. I bought software online to watch TV. Before I go any further let me tell you it was a rip off. The web designs for this email I received looked very legit. My Computer seemed to have a fast enough speed to watch the advertisement on the URL link I opened up from the email. After I bought this software and installed it; I can't get any of the 3000 channels to open. The funny thing is; I can download the commercials just fine! I can't imagine why the commercials can play but the TV channels can't. Every network is listed in the TV Guide link. There shouldn't be any reason why my computer isn't able to download any of the network channels and view them.

I was watching what I thought was an old movie the other night. It was set in Russia and the couple met in only what must have been an Internet Cafe. The only thing that was remarkable about the place was every little table had a monitor attached and a keyboard. Like most of us around the world I am curious about things I haven’t yet experienced, so I decided to find out about them. I sent out messages on the messenger program I have and began to ask some of my contacts if they had an internet café in the area where they lived. I asked questions if they did like, what did they think of such a place. I didn’t get many responses today, but it’s early in the day. I hope to get some kind of idea from my friends what this concept must be like. The next place I decided to try and get more information was a search engine. I pulled a browser and I typed in Internet Cafe into the search engine I use and I got several pages of hits. One of the first ones that I got was captioned the first internet café in New York City.

My friend Gloria loves to use a new website she discovered for online auctions. She has shown me a new way to bargain shop. I have used those cable television auction channels and loved it. This, however, was new to me. Isn’t it funny how you think that nothing else can surprise you, then something comes along and here you are again? (Surprised) I watched the screen and as she took me on a tour of how it all works, again and again I saw something wonderful and new. On-line banking link right there in the Web Design makes it even more convenient. I told her I was shocked I hadn’t seen email spam advertising on this. An Internet user can access financial account balances as they bid on the on-line auction. On-line banking is about as useful as a pocket on your shirt. I was amazed as I watched an on-line auction for a huge ranch in Colorado. Just imagine sitting there watching footage of abull or a vintage Rolls Royce or yeseven some one's house, but a 10,000 acre ranch in Colorado...on-line auction? Unbelievable, really amazing to watch this video of the ski resort on the hill, picture it with snow the caption was reading at the bottom of the screen.Now I wouldn't mind getting spam for something like that. Last night I was talking to a friend of mine who works for another On-line chat room site. She helped with their Web Design because she says the chat room would be easier to monitor that way. I monitor for a different site. We only have 10 monitors and right now 45 chat rooms to watch. However, it's easy once you get used to the way we do it. We each keep a list of the monitors IDs we use in the rooms and keep track of the mood of the Chat Rooms and who is monitoring in them. These rules are agreed to before anyone gets access is common knowledge. Such rules are for all to have a pleasant experience. Everyone knows the rooms are monitored, no harmful chat and so on. Sometimes we're together but most of the time we monitor separately. Having several rooms at once keeps more monitors busy and awake. By backing each other up; if more than one problem arises at a time. One of the chat rooms has a theme of off world fantasy but all are set up to enhance a social network experience. Some people have very unique names or IDs for these rooms. All the monitors have numerous IDs to monitor with. Keeping track of what's going on with so many On-line users using the social network gets a bit busy for all us. This helps weed out the obnoxious chatters in a social network and of course with a connection to a nice chat room more people log on and the site makes more money. Many of our ON-line members tell us they have tried other sites and none are as fun as this one.

I wanted to work from home and loved computers, I had been on many chat room sites and built up quite a big network of friends, one thing i had thought about doing was being a Chat Room moderator, but to be a chat room moderator and get paid you needed 2 years experience as a moderator, so i asked the chat room moderator one night how they went about it, the told me that basically they had joined a league and became a TD then an admin which gave her the two years experience even though it was unpaid, she also told me that through her own network of friends that she had built of being a moderator of a chat room she had been introduced to web design, and had now started researching and learning web design, she said at first she had found web design such a hard and different thing but the more she looked into it the more web design became appealing to her, I said i hadn't even considered web design as an option but maybe i would look into it. Even if any of these didn't pan out I would always have something that would have been worth my while, my network of friends, I had had some pretty tough times in the past couple of years and when I was down or I couldn't talk to anyone at home I would turn on my computer and talk to one of my friends in my network, how I got such a vast Network of friends is beyond me I always laughed when i saw my nieces with over 200 people on their messengers I used to ask them how on earth do you know all these people and actually do you know all these people or have you just accepted their requests of an add. That was quite a worry thought as my niece still at school and she really could be talking to anyone that was one of the reasons i had considered being a chat moderator as i am quite a good judge of character and don't just judge a book by its cover, people find it easy to talk to me so a job in a chat room seemed the obvious solution. One night I found myself trapped in cyberspace i was stuck in the middle of The Net, i tried running down messenger links but kept getting slapped back into the home of web design by an obscure smiley. The cyberspace was a dark place with flashing icons appearing every now and then a messenger sign would pop up letting people know that someone was on the net then i would have to run away again from more smileys chasing me. I decided recently to get broadband, i went with my telephone provider as there is so many companies that offer this that and the other for broadband but i was happy with the company i was with. I got it particularly to look up details on web design as it had always interested me and i was into computers so thought web design was the obvious choice. My Internet provider gave me web access on dial up to begin with but i found the only thing that really worked quick enough while i wasn't on Broadband was Instant Messaging, which was fine once i got the hang of instant messaging but there was more i wanted to do than the web access i had would allow this was when i decided i should get broadband.
