Webtech Advise

I went on a clutter clearing course and it was so very useful for me in my life. It helped me get rid all of the useless objects in my house. I was able to find a place to put everything that I kept. I found it easy to do because they taught me to imagine a cloud and then the object went to the charity shop or the rubbish tip.

I looked at my emails and got rid of all spam. To reward myself I did a booking on-line for a show at the theatre. I went there with my friend Tracey and we saw A Street Car Named Desire. I really enjoyed it. She told me that her boyfriend Chris was now working for a web design company. She let me know that broadband internet access would be coming to our village in two months time.

I was really sad the next week when I found out I was going to be made redundant from my job in one months time. I knew that five other colleagues of mine were going to be made redundant as well. I looked on the Internet at various employment sites. It was so difficult to find a job in a solicitors. I have worked as a legal secretary for ten years. I didn't know what I was going to do with my life if I couldn't find a job.

I met up with my friend Tracey at the weekend and she told me that Chris her boyfriend said the web design company he worked for were looking for a new secretary. So I asked him the address and sent them my CV. On Tuesday the manager phoned me and asked me to come along and have an interview. I was successful and got the part time job it was Monday to Thursday 9am to 5pm. Having every Friday off sounded excellent to me. The salary was £17,000 a year.

Chris showed me the sort of work he did at the Steve's Web Design Company. He let me see his design of the logo that the web design company used. I really enjoyed working there. One lunch time I got chatting to Mike and he asked me out for a drink. He became my boyfriend. Tracey and Chris plus me and Mike made a lovely four some for outings at the weekend. My salary went up to £20,000 when I had been working there for two years. I got thirty days holiday a year.
