Webtech Advise

We were experiencing Internet connection problems before we decided to change our Internet provider. Every 10 minutes or so the Internet connection would stop and I would be kicked of the site I was on. It was awful when I was trying to download something. It would normally get half way through the download and then the internet connection would go. A few times I would find that there would be about 40 seconds of the file left to download, then the connection would cut out. It was really starting to get to me so we had to change network providers.

The company we are now with are brilliant! Our download speed is so much faster and we have a much speedier time on the net now. Before it would take up to 5 minutes to upload a page, now its done in seconds. It was a bit like being on dial up.

I use the net for many things and run a home business via the net, so you can imagine how annoying it was for me. I'm getting my work done in less than half the time now, so I am actually able to speed the evenings relaxing.

A friend of the family owns a web design company. I did think a while ago about doing some work for him, as he had previously asked me. Now my Internet connection is no longer an issue I think I will probably help him out, now I have all this spare time.

The Internet is a great invention, it's like having a library in my front room. I think it amazing how much information you can find out about something on the net.I have been tracing my long lost relatives on the net. It's taken a lot of hard work but I'm not far off completing my family tree. I have family from all over the world. I was shocked when I found out that my great gran used to date one of Al Capone's fellow gangsters. I also found out that some of my relatives were bootleggers and my great aunt still has some of the wine they used to bootleg. I have my fingers crossed that somewhere along the lines I will come across a rich ancestor and find that I have a big inheritance awaiting for me.
