"It seems that dating on-line can be a double edged sword. My name's Clara and don't let that I'm a woman fool you, I'm better with computers then most men. I have a bachelor’s degree in IT specializing in webdesign. It seems I spend most of my time on my desktop pc though, and though my pc is top of the range and I can spend hours surfing the web.

My biggest problem is that I am too shy to talk to people face to face, I am fine with talking on forums, I can be as blatant as anyone else, but when I have to confront another person I freeze up. So, against all advice I tried my hand at dating on-line. I started by committing an on-line search to find which site I should use, but an on-line search for 'dating on-line' turned up so many results with different sites that I had trouble keeping my head from spinning.

Ileft my pc for a short while as I went and made a cup of tea that was my other true vice; I couldeasily go without coffee but tea I could never give up. After a refreshing cup of earl grey I sat down at my computer again to sift through the results from my on-line search.I decided to just go for it and went with the first result it had turned up. couples-biz.com seemed relatively harmless, and though I have strong feelings about what information one should give on the net I went against my better judgment and filledin the forms.

The next day I had received three emails asking if I'd want to get together, all the guys in the pictures were really hot. I hadn't thought that anyone would put a fake picture up. I was a bit too honest for that. One of the guys name was Jack I liked the simplicity, and responded to his email first. It wasn't long before he'd messaged me back and we had a date arranged.

I arrived at the diner we had agreed to meet at ten minutes before we had agreed on; I sat at a table near the door, watching for Jack to arrive. Hoping my nerves wouldn't give out before he did. A few minutes passed and a man arrived, he sat across from me. He looked nothing like the man in the photo. I didn't think men as ugly as Jack could really exist..."
