Everybody knows how annoying it is to get a virus on the net just by doing the simplest thing on the net such as visiting a home page. You click onto your home page and then tragic enough, a virus may pop up and take over the net entirely. Having a virus just by doing the simplest thing such as visiting a home page is ridiculous but one thing is for sure, if you visit the web site for re-route ltd you will not get any virus popping up. My friend once had a virus, no, not the Internet type, but a proper virus that made him really ill. It was actually nearly lethal. He was throwing up, full of muscle aches and pains and could not even get out of bed. It was completely tragic. He felt like rubbish and he was certain he was going to die. He decided to live his life to the maximum, but being ill, made it difficult. He decided to try beat this virus, and so he jumped out of bedand told the person he was in love with that he loved them. He did not care that he looked like death. He did not care that he felt like death. He just wanted the love of his life to know how he felt before it was too late. He also knew that he needed to make change. He knew that he had to look at himself long and hard in the mirror and ask himself what had he really achieved in life. He knew that he was never alone and he just wanted to thank everybody that had always been there for him. He also wanted to make a change for the better and decided to give away all his things, especially as he figured he would die and so would not need it any more. He also knew he had made mistakes in the past and so wanted to be free of his sins and confront his demons. He said sorry to every body he had hurt and sure enough, he beat the virus.

I'd found myself completely enthralled in the internet nowadays and especially with this website owned by the company re-route ltd. It was internet dating, it was on-line shopping and best of all it was all in cyberspace. I had no-one to take the mick out of me here, I was my own person and I could be whoever I wanted. I threw myself into cyberspace everyday after school when I had nothing else to do, the other kids would play around outside but they didn't really like me, I'm not sure why. The on-line shopping was excellent I could buy games, toys, videos, DVDs and music, loads to be honest andI would. My mum was getting pretty fed up with all the packages that would show up at my house but she understood also that I was a bit reclused from the rest of the school crowd and found comfort in buying little small stupid things off the internet. She didn't know that I tried internet dating pretending to be a much older man that I actually am, well actually i'm a boy I'm not even a man. Cyberspace didn't know this though neither did the woman on the internet dating site who would show me a good time with cyber relationships, of course we'd never meet but that didn't bother me, I wasn't good in public or real life.

If you were given the name of a company 're-route ltd' and asked to guess the nature of what it does without having any access to any other info apart from the name, what would you come up with? I think I'd think it had something to do with the postal industry or something to do with engineering or computer networking. What would you think? So I was at the internet cafe the other day, surfing away as you do, and this guy comes up to me and asks me if I had any change so he could pay for the surfing time he'd used. Even though I ended up helping him ('cos it was only 50p), I was thinking to myself 'how can you not know how much money you have on you, mate?' Plus, what if no-one wanted to help, what would have happened then? I mean, he just about walked through the whole length of the internet cafe and everyone had said 'no' before he got to me. So it didn’t surprise me when my web site manager called to inform me he had been trying to reach me through messenger all day and never had a reply. I had my secretary re-route all of my calls for the next hour to my answering service, let her go for the rest of the day just so we wouldn’t be interrupted while we discussed the changes he had made at my request.

I was in an on-line gaming web site one night and a player was talking about his broadband provider and how bad they charged him for service that didn’t exist. He was going on and on how they aren’t available after 3 PM and only then during week days. I guess the on-line gaming web site is hard for him to compete on because the connection he has is so slow. He had plenty to complain about so my girlfriend and I started a private chat room so we could get some peace and quiet. "Matt! Matt!" came the call upstairs. "What?!" came the yell back down again. "I need you to look something up for your sister! Its for her homework!". His mothers voice had that ' don't you dare refuse' type of tone to it. Matt sighed and went downstairs,where his Mother was waiting for himin the hallway."Kirsty needs to know the definition of 're route' for her ICT homework - be a good boy and look it up for her please." Matt muttered something about not knowing why Kirsty couldn't do it herself, and trudged back upstairs. He swivelled round on the computer chair, enjoying the slightly dizzy feeling he got, until he focused at the job in hand. After moving the mouse to get rid of the laptop screen saver, Matt immediately went onto his favourite search engine -google. "The problem with google" Matt thought as he browsed through the results, "is that there are so many more interesting things on here than word definitions!".After nearly half an hour of being distracted by the wonders of google, and clicking on anything the search engine threw at him, Matt decided to check his email account. 'You have 27 new messages' greeted him in flashing letters as he logged in. "27?! that's alot!" thought Matt to himself. "Oh well, i guess I will have to sort them out before looking up Kirsty's stupid word!", and with that - he opened the first email. Twelve emails later, Matt's Mother stormed up the stairs, and burst into his room. "What are you doing Matt?!" She yelled at him, "All I wanted you to do is look up a word! How can it be taking so long?!". Matt stayed silent and hoped she wouldn't notice the email on the screen. Unfortunately the email wanted to be noticed! It was an animated e-card with dancing bears doing the can-can in hula dresses! Matt's mum stared at it in disbelief. Matt glanced at her nervously, wondering what his punishment would be, and was slightly amused to see her take a few deep breaths and count to 10. Once she had finished, she informed him in a very quietly dangerous voice, that if he didn't look up Kirsty's word now - she would take the laptop from him for a month! Then she turned and stalked out of the room. Matt sighed a small sigh of relief at her departure, and went straight back to the search engine.

I love the fact that the internet can do everything, or so it seems at least. All you have to do is type your search into a search engine such as Yahoo or Google and a number of relevant sites will be displayed and all you have to do is choose the one most relevant to you and your needs. Once you click on the link it will re route you to the web site. It really is that simple to use the internet. A search engine always amazes me how it can find so manythings so quickly. A search engine enables you not to know the website address and simply search for it or even do research online. Many students now use the internet for their studies rather than read a book. I truly believe computers will take over the world and it seems they are starting to, as many people have lost their jobs to computers as it is more cost efficient for the company.

I had to call the airline today. These booking on-line problems with our browser are at the top of my agenda today. I still hadn't received my confirmation email on our tickets. Booking on-line tickets for us for business is a nice convenience. The best part is the ability to print out the booking on-line emails. Last week we had to change flights do to a re-route by the airlines, for the flight we usually take, there is a time delay now and a connection change.
