I had just started my new business. I had opened a web software development site. I was pleased with the design of it since creatively I was lacking I felt. I considered myself more skilled with content.I always loved surfing the Internet for fresh ideas. I liked the challenge that came with wanting to be fresh and original. I often spent 30 minutes of a day just surfing round all sorts of sites, questioning the designs and asking myself if I can implement any ideas into my sites. The web access at home was better now then ever. Before it was dial up and it was really difficult to enjoy the experience of having web access.
I program for a hobby and I wanted to use this new site to promote my tools. I wanted write a program to correct registry errors and I especially wanted to write a new calendar type program because I felt many were primitive. True, they didn't have to be complex but I wanted to set myself that challenge.Today I had the place to myself as my brother went surfing with his friends. At home we shared an Internet connection which meant splitting the bandwidth, however today I looked for sites that streamed video.
The web access we had at home was slow. I'm too embarrassed to actually saw how slow it was. Everyone seems to have great speeds these days but if you research there are people like me and my brother who aren't as fortunate as the many.I wanted to create a site that would challenge every other. I knew it would be tough as SEO wasn't a strength of mine - however I planned to do some research online. I had a thirst for knowledge.
I wrote my first program when I was seven years old. It was a a really basic text adventure game. It was called, 'Simon and the apple.' It was a very small game and it's actually a stretch to call it a game. These days I think of it as a small bit of code that ran quite well.
