A few months back, I decided to make my own web site. So I started ask

A few months back, I decided to make my own web site. So I started asking a friend who is a programmerto give me ideas about website development. Despite several advises from the programmer, the most helpful information I got about website development were mostly from self-help ebooks.
Anyway, I started fiddling with my web site, picking the right colors, the theme, and of course, the targeted traffic. In so doing, instead of one web site with multiple pages, I ended up with three different web sites. I realized website development wasn't as easy as I thought it would be.
Looking back on those months, it dawned on me that I concentrated too much on building my own web site that I realized I didn't have much content that could help me earn, which was basically why I wanted to be build them. I then surfed the web for tips and found out about on-line auction.
One of the best sites for on-line auction is ebay. I started selling some of my collectibles there and I started to earn. I then expanded my inventory, adding stuff as I progressed.
But even though I was starting to earn online, I realized that to have more stuff to sell, I would eventually have to invest in some other things. That's when I realized that sites for on-line auction don't only sell stuff, but they have classifieds as well. I found what I needed and soon was able to add enough to my capital, with enough cash to actually consult a professional programmer to enhance my current web sites.
Currently, I have three blogs, one which is being housed by my enhanced web site, and two on-line auction sites. I am still surfing the web relentlessly for ideas on earning online and I am also helping out those new to the field.
It really is quite enjoyable to be online, doing what you like doing, but getting paid for it. Gone were the days that surfing the web means wasting electricity and time. It's surprising really, to actually be doing something you enjoy and yet gain not only experience but a smallfortune as well.
