Webtech Advise

I got fired from my job two months ago and have been desperately looking for work. I have applied to some many jobs, yet no one has even called me for an interview. I signedup to monster.com and have started tosurf the webhoping that it will provide some leads, if I don't get a job soon I will have to move back in with my parents and I don't think they will be too happy with that.

Every morning I wake up nice and early, turn on my computer and open my browser to begin my search. I go to the monster site type in my user name and hope that some new jobs have been posted since the day before. If there is nothing new I surf the web in search for online jobs. There seems to be a lot of work in web designing and programmingbut I have no training or experience in that.

After I surf the web, I go to Gmail type in my user name and check my emails. Always hoping that there will be an email about a job I hurriedly read all my new messages. Most times all I get is a bunch of junk emails and sales emails from people I have never heard of. A bit frustrated at not finding anything I will minimize my browser and take a breakfast break. I also take some time to make some phone calls to places I have applied to let them know I am still interested. It is becoming a bit embarrassing to call some of these places. I feel like if I am harassing them, but I don't want them to forget about me.

After I eat and make all my calls I once again open my browser and keep on with my search. Now I wish I had taken some computer classes in college. At least I would be better equipped to deal with a lot of jobs that are posted, who knew the Internet would blow up to be so huge? Well, no use crying over spilt milk, once again again to monster.com put in myuser nameand continue my search. Once of these days I know I will find something.
