I was checking my email; like I do every morning from the patio on my laptop and I found an interesting e-mail in my junk folder. It was from a web site development advertisement to go back to school. I called my brother and told him about it and he said it was the first time he had heard of an email going out to advertise going to school for what he likes to do.

I told him he should power up his laptop and check out his junk folder. I know he sends everything over to trash that is considered junk mail. He said he just might have to check out what all goes on behind the surface of his email program.

My sister loves to do her portfolio research on-line. She tells me all the time to watch my investments. I should get in the arm chair, on the information highway,and get going. I needed to get into managing it all throughmy Laptop withOn-Line Investing.

Well I know how to surf the Information highway and love doing it. I shop on-line almost every week. This saves my family time and money we needn't spend driving over hundred miles for one trip. Getting into our investments via on-line investing is a different story.

She insisted that this wouldhelp us solveso many things at one time. To see our investment manager is a problem all the time. He is always busy when we are free. Finding the time and getting all the way over there whenever we need advice or want to change amounts in funds is never timely either. With this my sister has shown us a way to stay on top of the situation and can change what we need to in a matter of a few minutes.

I talked it over with my husband and we called her back the next evening. She helped us understand how it all worked and what to watch for. I guess it's like anything else you do for the first time. The first time you try to do something a little help goes a long way. The internet or information highway is always going to be around for us and we need to learn to use it to our advantage. Why not work with our investments through it. Seems to me now On-line Investing is a very easy way to see how our finances are working or not working for us. Information is what we need and it is too easy not to use this media to our advantage.
